Tiffany has been teaching beginning/intermediate harp lessons for the past six years with students’ ages ranging from five to seventy-five. She teaches the Salzedo method of harp and enjoys working with students of all ages in helping them grasp the fundamentals and technique required in playing the harp.

Tiffany designs individual lesson plans based on each student’s needs and technical ability while following the Six Year Harp Course which outlines the basic requirements of harp study in Elementary, Junior and Senior High Schools that offer harp for credit.

Here is a list of all the required materials if you wish to take lessons with Tiffany:

A harp of your own
A notebook or binder
Assigned music books and exercises
A harp practice log/journal
A tuner and metronome

If you would like guidance on the purchase of a harp, please contact Tiffany. She will be happy to assist you with your purchase.

A notebook should be brought to each lesson for Tiffany and/or the student to write down lesson comments and assignments.

Due to the custom lesson plans Tiffany designs specifically for each student, materials may differ between her students. Each student should purchase the music and excercise books as required by Tiffany for his or her individual lessons.

Availability

Tiffany will be happy to work with you in picking a lesson time that is convenient for both you and her, whether it be during the day or the evening.

Cancellations

You will not be charged for any cancellations if you give Tiffany at least a 24-hour advance notice. However, since life can be unpredictable, she will be happy to reschedule a lesson missed due to an emergency or illness.

Performances

I encourage all my students to start performing in public settings as soon as they are ready for it. I also have them participate in a harp ensemble if they desire, as well as playing for recitals.

Rates

The fee is always due at the end of each lesson. Tiffany prefers to meet with her students once a week, every week, however, she tries to be as flexible as possible to accommodate everyone.
