Jeremy Envid, originally from Beacon, NY, graduated from Lee
University in Cleveland, TN with a Bachelors in Music Education in May of 2003. He got married to
Tiffany a month later. He was involved in many groups at Lee where he played trumpet, and was an
esteemed recipient of the Instrumental Music Education award from Lee University. He has both his
vocal and instrumental licensure, with a focus on trumpet. He is also certified in Kodaly Level I
training, as well as in CPI Training. He has taught music as well as directed the 4th and 5th grade
choir at Michigan Avenue Elementary in Cleveland, TN. He is currently the band director for Valley
Point Middle School, in Dalton, GA. He is also assistant band director to the Southeast Whitfield
High School in Dalton, where he helps with the marching band for summer camps, practices,
competitions, concerts, parades, etc. Jeremy is currently working on his Master’s in Music
Education.

Lenae Simmons, from Cleveland, TN, graduated from Lee College
in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Her private flute instructor was Penny Gerchefski Rose,
from the UTC/Cadek Conservatory. She and her husband moved to Rudersburg, Germany in August of 1981
where Lenae taught private flute, piccolo, recorder and voice lessons. Since coming back to
Tennessee in 1986, Lenae has taught private flute and piano lessons, plays flute in her local
church’s orchestra, and plays for special occasions and church functions. Lenae has performed flute
solos (as well as worked with other musicians) for recitals, weddings, receptions, church offertories,
banquets, etc. from 1971 to present.
